Attorney Claire Hagney works with the firm’s litigation team on civil litigation matters including small claims, personal injury, real estate disputes, and other legal disputes typically involving monetary damages. Claire assists clients and the litigation team throughout the legal process with preparation of pleadings, the discovery process, dispute resolution procedures, and court trials. She also assists the firm’s municipal group with prosecutions.

Claire’s experience includes serving as a legal clerk for two law firms where she assisted in litigation matters including intake on personal injury matters, drafting pleadings, preparing property distribution worksheets in family law, as well as research, analysis, and client interviews. She also performed numerous legal duties as an intern with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney Office, the City of Rockford Legal Department, and as a district office intern for an Illinois U.S. Representative.

While in law school, Claire was active as a Student Bar Association Representative. She was also a member of the Restraining Order and Survivor Advocacy Clinic, in which law students assist clients who are victims of crimes. Additionally, Claire is active in the community where she has volunteered her time and has participated in various youth organizations.

Claire is available to serve clients in the firm’s Madison, Janesville, and Dodgeville, offices.
