Attorney Larry Bechler Retires

The firm celebrated the long and successful career of Attorney Larry Bechler. Larry retired at the end of March after serving clients in a legal career that began in 1977.

Larry primarily practiced in Municipal Law where he earned honors from Best Lawyers in America, Lawyer of the Year-Madison, Wisconsin Super Lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell/lawyers.com. Larry was also inducted as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and Wisconsin Bar Foundation.

At the celebration, several of Larry’s attorney peers shared comments about working with him over the years. A common theme included that Larry listens well, speaks mainly when he has something of value to contribute, is highly respected throughout the legal community, is seen as knowledgeable on many topics, and Larry is humble about his many achievements and accolades.

Larry will join the ranks of the several other Emeritus Attorneys at the firm. We are grateful for his exceptional service to Murphy Desmond clients and his invaluable mentoring of firm attorneys.
