Rosen Named Chair of Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County

Criminal defense attorney Bruce Rosen was named Chair of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Dane County. Bruce began his involvement with BBBS in 1973, as recent law school graduate, when he became a Big Brother until 1979. He joined the financial arm of BBBS on the Foundation Board  from 1996 to 2002. In 2014, Bruce rejoined BBBS as a board member of the organization.

BBBS is an agency that serves more than 600 children with staff and volunteers committed to helping children thrive. Remarkably, BBBS of Dane County has achieved nearly a 100% high school graduation rate of eligible “Littles” (the children in the program), and nearly 100% of the 2016 high school graduating class are currently attending college or are enrolled in a college prep training program.

“It is my passion,” said Bruce, “because the best hope for all of our children is education and a strong role model, mentor or friend.”
