Ms. Furay has more than 25 years experience representing debtors, creditors, creditors' committees, lenders, trustees and acquirors in financing transactions, corporate restructuring and reorganization, bankruptcy, commercial and transaction law, business and commercial litigation.  She currently Chairs the Litigation Practice Group for the firm.  She is the past Chair of the firm's Creditors' Rights, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practice Group and the Corporate, Business and Tax Practice Group.

Her areas of practice include business bankruptcies, commercial and business litigation, general business matters, and negotiating financing transactions.  Ms. Furay is an experienced litigator with expertise in bankruptcy appeals.  Following law school she served on the Special Legislative Study Committee on the Credit Aspects of Marital Property.  She has written and lectured on Chapter 128 proceedings.

Ms. Furay received the 1994 Distinguished Service Award from the State Bar of Wisconsin and also has received numerous awards from the American Bar Association. Her Achievements have been recognized by Who's Who In American Women, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in Emerging Leaders, Wisconsin Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America.
