Ms. DeMarb represents debtors and secured creditors in bankruptcy, state court receiverships, commercial litigation and out-of-court business reorganizations. She often serves as the receiver for operating and liquidating businesses, as well as in real estate matters. DeMarb is adept at handling collections for business clients and financial institutions, and she has been certified in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification since 2005.
DeMarb returned to Murphy Desmond in 2011 after five years of developing her practice outside of large law firms. She originally joined Murphy Desmond in 1997, and has practiced law in Chicago, Madison, and in her adopted hometown of Evansville, Wisconsin.
DeMarb works diligently to meet the needs of her clients in matters of debtor-creditor law. Her skills and knowledge have earned her inclusion on the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list in Debtor-Creditor Rights since 2008 and on the Top 25 Female Attorneys in Wisconsin by Super Lawyers in 2010.
