Mr. Pasch has practiced law in Madison since 1972 and is a shareholder in the firm. He was ranked as one of the top lawyers for consumer law in Dane County in a poll of lawyers published by Madison Magazine in January 2007. Mr. Pasch was recently voted as one of Wisconsin's "Super Lawyers" as a business lawyer.
His practice emphasizes creditors' rights, collection law, contract law, general business representation, real and personal property leases, commercial law and litigation, and partnership litigation.
In collection matters he has represented a broad spectrum of local, national and international clients, wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers and distributors, financial institutions and loan companies, automobile dealerships and leasing companies, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers; agri-businesses; landlords; from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He advises credit managers and business personnel on credit and collection policies and procedures.
Mr. Pasch provides legal services to financial institutions in commercial and real estate loan transactions, ranging from loan documentation to workouts.
Mr. Pasch provides a broad scope of legal services to business clients, ranging from advice regarding every day issues to the purchase and sale of a business. He was lead counsel to a regional broadcast company that successfully concluded a transaction involving the sale of numerous broadcast facilities, including six television stations and six radio stations.
Mr. Pasch has been involved in numerous collection lawsuits, and other business and commercial litigation, in state and federal courts, and has worked with nearly all of the major nationwide commercial and retail collection agencies. He has represented insurers, law firms and collection agencies in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigation.
He has served as a receiver by judicial appointment. His book, Wisconsin Collection Law, is the leading comprehensive publication available on this subject and is now published as Volumes 12 and 13 of the Wisconsin Practice Series. - Wisconsin, 1972
