Mr. Trachtenberg concentrates his practice in real estate development, utilizing his over 25 years of experience in land use, real estate, condominium, municipal, commercial and business law, to assist in land subdivision and zoning approvals, as well as infrastructure and building construction contracts and real estate sales and leases for both commercial and residential properties.
In addition to Mr. Trachtenberg's vast professional experience in his practice area, he served eight years on the city council for the City of Madison, as the alderman for Madison's far west side, serving as council president and as a member of Madison's Board of Estimates, Plan Commission, Board of Public Works, Economic Development Commission, Madison Development Corporation, and Community Development Block Grant Commission. Mr. Trachtenberg has also served on several committees for the Madison Metropolitan School District. He also hosted "District Reports" on the City of Madison cable access station for over a decade.
