Alice O'Connor is Director of Government Relations at the firm representing clients in areas of business, retailers, law enforcement, hospitality, finance, time-share development, local government and utilities.
Before joining the firm, Ms. O'Connor served as Senior Vice President for the Wisconsin Medical Society. Prior to that, she owned and operated her own government relations and grassroots communication firm for more than a decade. Her clients include health insurance, physicians, medical, rail, accounting, banking, timber, paper, fireworks, and non-profit groups like Special Olympics. She has orchestrated several successful statewide grassroots campaigns designed to impact public policy.
In addition to her current role as a government relations consultant, Ms. O'Connor serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation, City of Madison Monona Terrace Board of Directors, Badger Chapter Red Cross Marketing Committee, TEMPO, a Madison women's business organization. She is also an active member of the Wisconsin Professional Speakers Association.
She has taught Presentation Skills at the UW Law School, UW School of Business Urban Planning and UW Healthy Leadership Institute. Ms. O'Connor is extensively involved in community affairs. Communities Health Charities recognized her as Volunteer of the Year and the Wisconsin Chapter of the National MS Society previously named her the Outstanding Advocate of the Year. She is a founder of Wisconsin Women in Government, which have given hundreds of thousands of scholarships to financially needy women.
Ms. O'Connor is not admitted to the practice of law.
