Since joining the firm in 1972, Mr. Vaughan has represented a wide variety of clients in the legislative and administrative law process. He was ranked as one of the top public interest law lawyers in Dane County in a poll of lawyers published by Madison Magazine in January 2003.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Vaughan headed the Wisconsin Legislature's Bill Drafting Section for ten years. During that time he also served as a Wisconsin Commissioner on Uniform State Laws.

Mr. Vaughan is currently listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who In American Law and Best Lawyers in America. An article about lobbyists and the legislative process in Corporate Report Wisconsin called him "...one of the best. An intellectual who can grasp the subject matter of a situation as well as the politics."
