Swapna Deshpande joined Murphy Desmond S.C. as a law clerk in 2005 and became an associate attorney in 2006. She practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and business law. Prior to joining Murphy Desmond, Ms. Deshpande was a law clerk in the Office of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. She also interned with Chief Justice Michael Nowakowski of the Dane County Circuit Court and in the Division of Legal Services of the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Ms. Deshpande worked as a volunteer through the University of Wisconsin Law School's Unemployment Law Clinic.
