Mr. Valentyn is President and Managing Shareholder of Murphy Desmond S.C.  He joined the firm in 1984 and has over 26 years of experience in the practice of law.  He also spent five years as president of a manufacturing company in southwestern Wisconsin beginning in 1997 and returned to Murphy Desmond in December 2002 to assume his current leadership role.

Mr. Valentyn is primarily responsible for strategic planning, management, and the growth and development of Murphy Desmond and its attorneys. In addition, his practical experience in the business sector makes him uniquely qualified to advise clients in all areas of business law, including ownership succession and purchase and sale transactions.

Mr. Valentyn has 18 years of experience in successfully negotiating contracts for coaches and professional athletes.  Recognized and certified by the players associations of the National Football League and the National Basketball Association, he serves as the lead negotiator on behalf of the firm's sports clients.  His knowledge and experience will help athletes and coaches looking for aggressive and skillful representation and for the kind of long-range, goal-oriented assistance required to enhance and secure future rewards.
