Attorney Julia Walsh Presents to Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, estate planning attorney Julia Walsh presented to the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association (WFDA) at their 141st Annual Convention in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Julia’s one-hour presentation, entitled “Estate Planning: The Most Important Item on Your Bucket List” emphasized the importance of estate planning in tandem with pre-planning funeral services. In addition, she discussed estate planning specifics for minor children and second and subsequent marriages. Finally, she outlined what the administration of an estate may look like without estate planning documents in place, touching on topics such as probates, guardianship proceedings, and Will challenges.

Julia focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and fiduciary and beneficiary representation for families and individuals in Wisconsin. She meets with clients in the firm’s offices in Madison, Janesville, Dodgeville, and Appleton.
