Attorneys Ginger Zimmerman and Kristin Beilke Participate in BICR Seminar

The Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditors' Rights (BICR) Section of the Wisconsin State Bar held a seminar and social retreat on February 29-March 1, 2024, in Kohler, Wisconsin. Attorney Ginger Zimmerman, who chairs the BICR section, opened the event with remarks. Attorney and BICR member Kristin Beilke participated in a panel discussion entitled “Small Business Insolvency Dilemmas: Factoring; MCAs; Guaranties; Lender Disclosures.”

The BICR Section conducts an annual retreat so members can gain current information and advice on issues faced by bankruptcy, insolvency and creditors’ rights practitioners. Presenters include bankruptcy judges, nationally recognized speakers, Chapter 7 panel trustees, standing Chapter 13 trustees, and knowledgeable Wisconsin practitioners, according to the seminar’s web page. The seminar qualifies for Continuing Legal Education credits and will be available online for State Bar members.
