Firm Celebrates 95 Years

In honor of the firm opening its doors in April 1931, attorneys and staff gathered for a 95th anniversary celebration on April 28 that included lunch, cake, and a presentation by firm President & Managing Shareholder Ginger Zimmerman.

As someone who worked with firm founder Robert B.L. Murphy (he passed away in 2001), Ginger shared her thoughts about Mr. Murphy’s leadership style. She mentioned his openness to change, including when he relocated the firm’s Madison office numerous times over the years. 

In fact, Murphy Desmond will relocate its Madison office again later this year. During her presentation, Ginger reviewed space plans of Murphy Desmond's future Madison office and took questions from employees. (More details on the move later.)

The firm is grateful to Mr. Murphy and all who contributed to Murphy Desmond's success ~ allowing for this celebration of 95 years in business!

Murphy Desmond employees enjoyed a luncheon of Italian fare and cake to celebrate the firm's 95th anniversary in the Madison office.
