Attorney Michael (Mike) Windle is a member of Murphy Desmond’s municipal, real estate, and estate planning groups. He assists municipal clients in areas including land use regulation, property tax assessment, eminent domain disputes, economic development, tax incremental financing, alcohol and other licensing and permitting issues, open meetings and public records law, ordinance drafting, real estate, special assessments and general litigation. For private clients, he handles matters relating to titles, deeds, partitions, and property disputes, as well as probate matters, basic estate planning, and guardianships.

Mike began his practice serving rural communities and clients as a general practitioner, as corporation counsel for counties in the Driftless region, and by representing various local governments. He focuses on the presentation of complex legal matters in a way which can be understood and on representing his clients’ interests both in and out of court.

Mike is based in Murphy Desmond’s Madison office but is available to meet with clients in the firm’s Janesville and Dodgeville offices as well.
