Murphy Desmond to Sponsor "Pollinator Walk" Field Trip

On Friday, September 6, 2019, Groundswell Conservancy, Inc. will host a “Pollinator Walk” field trip, open to the public. Murphy Desmond is a sponsor of the event, which will be held at the Patrick Marsh Wildlife Area in Sun Prairie, beginning at 4:30pm. The Pollinator Walk will feature a walk and talk about local pollinating species, where to spot them, and what to do to help them. The event will be led by UW Arboretum native plant gardener Susan Carpenter, who will also discuss late-season species, such as Eastern male bumblebees and a possible look at the future queen.
